*smiles* O goody then... according to the rather amusing, egoistic duelist i was getting information off he was complaining about how every few months a "last turn" duelist will come along out of nowhere and beat everyone. Hense i thought that side-decking a pretty little elephant or 3 might just be a tad more entertaining and practical for against other deck types then something along the lines of "royal decree".
Thanks jaspbur... now i know my fun little idea will actually work, I'll be happy to try it out sometime.

Was watching a rather facinating duel earlier on and there was a rather loud argument over whether a move was legal or not. Although the duel has finished the question wasn't exactly resolved... so I'm wondering if perhaps somebody here could help.
Player 1 flipped over morphing jar and chained "Forced Requisition" and "Magical Thorn" to it. Player 2 discarded 1 card and both players drew 5. Player 1 then activated "card destruction" causing both players to discard entire hands ((opponment discards 5 putting the score at 8000/5000)). Now here is where the argument occured.
Does player 2 now have to discard an extra 4 cards from his hand after he has re-drawn 4 cards thanks to "Forced Requistion"... causing him to lose another 2000 lifepoints?

That is correct.
The activation of Forced Requisition was correctly timed when Morphing Jar was flipped.
Card Destruction cost life points in conjunction with Magical Thorn. After the new cards are drawn, Forced Requisition resolves its effect, causing the player to discard a number equal to the number of cards their opponent got rid of for card destruction, again taking damage.
Typically here is how this plays out.
Player one flips Morphing Jar, and Chains with Forced Requisition, and Chains to THAT with Magical Thorn. The effects resolve backwards in the chain, so if the opponent had let's say 3 cards in hand.....he would lose 1500 life points thanks to Magical Thorn's effect. Next after both players draw their 5 cards...the turn player activates Card Destruction, which causes the opposing player to send his/her 5 cards to the graveyard, and costs him/her another 2500 life points. Then Forced Requisition resolves, and the opposing player discards 4 cards to match the 4 cards player one discarded for Card Destruction. This costs the opposing player yet ANOTHER 2000 life points.
Total life point damage: 6000
I run a Dark World Deck that utilizes the combo of Forced Requisition/Magical Thorn....but the deck is very quick...and rarely needs them. A fun combo. If one can sneak a Greed in there, that one turn would have been game......nice play....if you can get it.
