Here is how this works. If you have some theme or strategy that you have really wanted to build or see built........we are here for you! Post a brief description of the theme or strategy you want, and we'll put our heads together and come up with a suggested decklist (including alternate cards in case some of the suggested cards are hard to get) and a full report on the combos and strategies that make it work. We'll detail the strengths and weaknesses too. So come one come all.......tell us what you want to see and we will make your dream a reality.

Seeing how no one else is willing to make a simple request I guess I will. A means to show viewers the talents of beloved Deck Team. After all we cannot afford the talents of are Top Duelist go to waist now can we?
Since Dragons seem a bit popular with this site's members. I would like for you to build me the best possible Dragon Deck you can that can be considered Tournament Worthy. However with one catch. It must be as economical as possible. There not to hard.

Not too terribly hard. I'll get with Tony when I see him and brainstorm. Tournament worthy and tournament winning of course are different things.......I have all of the best dragon cards to work with, as well as multiples of most of the commons.....and away we go.

Jaspbur is correct, it's not too difficult. Most of the Dragon Staples are found in Starter/Structure Decks, while the rest are found in Packs, though the chances of acquiring the latter is chancy at best. However, those cards can easily be found Online, or through Trades. Here's my take on a Dragon Deck, utilizing my favorite Dragon, Red-Eyes.
Monsters: 19
Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon x2 Red-Eyes B. Dragon x2 Red-Eyes B. Chick x3 Masked Dragon x3 Divine Dragon Ragnarok x2 The Dark-Hex-Sealed Fusion x2 Spear Dragon x3 (easily found on most Online stores at cheap prices) Luster Dragon x3 (found as Commons in the Dragon's Roar Structure Deck)
Spells: 12
Inferno Fire Blast x2 Monster Reincarnation Fusion Gate (as backup for King Dragun's Material) Premature Burial The Shallow Grave x2 A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon x2 Stamping Destruction x3
Traps: 9
Soul Resurrection x2 Dragon's Roar x2 Call of the Haunted Magic CYlinder (found as a Promo) Sakuretsu Armor x2 Bottomless Trap Hole
Main Deck Total: 40 Cards
Fusions: 2
King Dragun x2 (not too terribly difficult to find)
So Raven, let me know what you think ;D

Sorry I am going have to be the tough critic that I am. There are some huge flaws in this Deck. 1st is that the Structure of the Deck has a rather large hole allowing it to be very easily trampled. This is of course thanks to the ridiculously large number of highly situation cards that makes Top Decking a utter hazard. *Reminds me of your Blue Eyes Deck I played* Also not to mention some strategies do well to enforce a card disadvantage on your part thanks to the Cost Requirements, and Count Revenue’s when using certain cards. ((Count Revenue if what I refer to as the total number of cards you and your opponent has in your Hands and Field. Cards that once used that do not force your opponent to decrease there Card Revenue is something you have to be really careful about. Think about it, if you keep sending to many cards to the graveyard decreasing your Revenue while your opponents still has the same number will quickly lead to a card disadvantage. This counts for cards such as Inferno Fire Blast, Red Eyes Black Chic, and Compulsory Evacuation Device.)) This Deck can be easily just overwhelmed by a simple Beatdown Deck with a player that has experience. With a Deck like this you will find yourself preying to keep certain cards in play tell you draw something you are able to use. Kinda a Life Line situation. We are going to have to make a lot of changes here. So let me get started. 1. .....Why do you not have a Sangan in this Deck? Get it in there! 2. You need to get rid of the present Dark Hex Sealed Fusion strategy. It’s a good strategy however its poorly supported and again unless you have a way to consolidate any 2 for 1 strategy like this. You will have a harder time managing it in your Deck. If you want to keep a Dark Dragon theme with the Dark Hex Sealed Fusion. Instead replace the Devine Dragon Ragnarok that is pretty useless with Lord of D that has a powerful effect. Next is to replace the Masked Dragons with Mystic Tomato which can search out nearly every low attack power monster in this entire Deck. That would be Sangan, Lord of D, The Dark Hex Sealed Fusion, and Red Eyes Black Chic. As you can see it is far better a choice for this Deck. 3. However you can go with what is my better preferred strategy for bringing out the King Dragon as well as other Dragon Fusion Monsters. That is using the Dragons Mirror for full effect. ((Kinda a Polymerizations for Dragons)) This strategy is several key advantages to it that make it easier to use and actually add more flexibility to the Decks structure. With Dragons Mirror it will treat the Special Summon as a Fusion Summoning. So you can Special Summon the Fusion Monster once after it is sent to the graveyard if you want. ((Something the Hex Sealed Fusions cannot do)) Additionally it has a rather easier means to use the Fusion Material Monsters. That it uses what is on the Field and in the Graveyard and not what is on the Field and in the Hand like Fusion Gate or Polymerization. ((Certainly not the even more cumbersome means to have both monsters on the field at the same time as required by the Hex Sealed Fusion)) You may ask why is that better? Well simple.... This is the part that makes using this strategy very practical and supports the entire structure of your Deck unlike the other means you can summon your Fusion Monsters. Use Cyber Jar, Morphing Jar, and Card Destruction. These are fast the staples for this new List anyways. Additionally playing from the Graveyard in this way provides to more advantages. You don’t have to worry about keeping useless assets in the hand and you don’t lose much of a Card Disadvantage like you would playing Polymerization. 4. Since with these added changes you have a better flow in your Deck. Go ahead and add in 1 more Red Eyes Black Dragon. Then take out 1 Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. Given that there is no way to search these High Level Out it makes the Top Deck poor for them. So its better use the Red Eyes Darkness Dragon as your finisher card. Think about it..... With just 2 Red Eyes Black Dragons with your 2 Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. It makes since that it will take a good while to have the chance to summon the Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. ((Unless you really Lucky.)) Which case if you have a hard time deciding most games in under 10 of your turns. Then there is a problem. Finally add in another High Level Dragon. First choice is Tyrant Dragon or Kaiser Glider if your lucky enough to own these two. However if you do not you can go for the more economical card like ether Horus the Black Flame Dragon Lv6, Armed Dragon Lv5, and the least favorite of mine Blue Eyes White Dragon. ((The day I lose to a Blue Eyes Deck in a matched duel with my A game is the day Hell Freezes over.)) You probably wont own up to a third Spear Dragon so that can be your replacement. 5. Please do not use Fusion Gate....replace it. 6. You should never ever use more then 1 Wing Beat of Gaint Dragon. First you do not need more then 1 and secondly in order to activate you must send a Level-7 or higher dragon back to your hand from the field making it super situational. The only reason its worth considering is because of Red Eyes Black Chic and King Dragun. Replace this card with a Heavy Storm. ((You may just remove both of them altogether)) 7. Stamping Destruction is a rather good card. However you must have a face-up Dragon Monster on the field to use it. And since most players in the Tournament Level are using a lot of Bottomless Trap Holes (Probably more then one), Compulsory Evacuation Devices(Probably more then one), Enemy Controller, Book of Moon, and Torrential Tribute. If you have to summon your Dragon because you have no Dragons present on the field already to activate it. (A common thing trust me) You can see where the draw back is horribly apparent. You should only use 2 or better 1. Since your already should be using a Heavy Storm, Wing Beat of Dragon, and King Draguns. Its strongly suggested that you use only 1 Stamping Destruction. Replace the other with a Mystical Space Typhoon. As for the other card replace it with Snatch Steal... Again Why?! 8. Shallow Graves.....no no no! Just replace them. Replace them with Swords of Revealing Light and Dark Hole....By the way with Dark Hole on the same level as Sangan and Snatch Steal....WHY!!!! I mean come on! This is the third time! ((I know you like to be original and that is fine. However this is meant to help other players in making a Deck that can have the best shot to win a Tournament)) 9. Inferno Fire Blast is hardly economical. Though if you have them use them. 10. Monster Reincarnation is not needed... you are already using 2 Soul Resurrections in this Deck to gather your Red Eyes and Luster Dragons to the field. So this monster has limited use even with King Dragun and the Hex Sealed Fusion. Its not needed and proves costly. You should replace this with a Card Destruction to remedy the Top Deck problem. 11. Well I wont say anything on this one but just to replace 1 Sakuretsu Armor for Torrential Tribute. Ok as far as using Dragons Mirror you should use probably 2. Which case you can replace both Dragons Rage and Soul Resurrection for them both. Now then with these changes things should look a lot better. Something truly worthy of having a chance to take on any Localized Tournament. The 2 new Deck Lists as modified from the previous one and with my advice incorporated. Monster Cards 20 Red Eyes Darkness Dragon-1 Red Eyes Black Dragon-3 Tyrant Dragon-1 < “Can be Subbed for some other high level dragon” Luster Dragon-3 Spear Dragon-2 Sangan-1 Mystic Tomato-3 Lord of D.-2 The Dark Hex Sealed Fusion-2 Red Eyes Black Chic-2 Spell Cards 11 Dark Hole-1 Snatch Steal-1 Wing Beat of Gaint Dragon-1 Heavy Storm-1 Mystical Space Typhoon-1 Stamping Destruction-1 Card Destruction-1 Premature Burial-1 Swords of Revealing Light-1 Inferno Fire Blast-2 Trap Cards 9 Soul Resurrection-2 Dragons Rage-2 Bottomless Trap Hole-1 Torrential Tribute-1 Sakuretsu Armor-1 Magic Cylinder-1 Call of the Haunted-1 Total Deck Count 40 ______________________________________________________________________________ Monster Cards 20 Red Eyes Darkness Dragon-1 Red Eyes Black Dragon-3 Tyrant Dragon-1 < “Can be subbed for any other high level dragon” Luster Dragon-3 Spear Dragon-2 Red Eyes Black Chic-2 Mystic Tomato-1 Lord of D.-2 The Dark Hex Sealed Fusion-2 Sangan-1 Cyber Jar-1 Morphing Jar-1 Spell Cards 13 Dark Hole-1 Snatch Steal-1 Wing Beat of Gaint Dragon-1 Heavy Storm-1 Mystical Space Typhoon-1 Stamping Destruction-1 Card Destruction-1 Premature Burial-1 Swords of Revealing Light-1 Inferno Fire Blast-2 Dragons Mirror-2 Trap Cards 7 Soul Resurrection-1 Dragons Rage-1 Torrential Tribute-1 Bottomless Trap Hole-1 Sakuretsu Armor-1 Magic Cylinder-1 Call of the Haunted-1 Total Deck Count 40

Well well well.....first let me say to Raven's comment that I have always wanted to see Hell freeze over, so I'll be working diligently on a Blue Eyes deck for you.
I actually built a deck for my daughter that is a Red Eyes Deck and is very similar. It's 42 cards which Raven will hate, but it works quite well.
Monsters: 21
Luster Dragon x 3 Red Eyes B. Chick x 3 Red Eyes B. Dragon x 3 Red Eyes Darkness Dragon x 2 (The first is a distraction, the second is a kill shot) Spear Dragon x 2 Lord of D. x 2 Jinzo x 1 Twin headed Behemoth x 1 Divine Dragon Ragnarok x 1 Cyber Jar x 1 Sangan x 1 Magician of Faith x 1
Spell: 13
Inferno Fire Blast x 2 The Flute Of Summoning Dragon x 1 Mystical Space Typhoon x 1 Heavy Storm x 1 Giant Trunade x 1 Lightning Vortex x 1 (Maybe not THAT economical, but one could use dark hole if necessary) Nobleman of Crossout x 1 Premature Burial x 1 Snatch Steal x 1 Book of Moon x 1 Swords of Revealing Light x 1 Dragon's Mirror x 1
Traps: 8
Dragon's rage x 1 Sakuretsu Armor x 1 Threatening Roar x 1 Torrential Tribute x 1 Bottomless Trap Hole x 1 Dust Tornado x 1 Ceasefire x 1 Draining Shield x 1
Fusion Deck:
King Dragun x 1
I like Dragon Decks, although they are not my favorite by any means. They have a fair amount of support cards, but to be honest alot of the supports are costly and/or underpowered so on usually has to result to some of the common spell/trap staples. With this deck although i took out the Masked Dragons I certainly did not go fro Mystic Tomatos because that woul have just meant adding more cards to the deck. As I said my daughter plays with this deck and she usually has a darkness dragon out on me by the second turn. King Dragun is merely a distraction, although with luck he'll last a few rounds. This deck is Beatdown, and includes alot of special summon ability. There's really nothing like having a Lord of D., Flute of Summoning Dragon, two Red Eyes B. Dragon, one Darkness Dragon, and Heavy strom in hand.......situational you say?...maybe....but I seem to be on the receiving end of that onslaught EVERY TIME!!!!! So there's my take on it. Simple to understand, simple to operate.....
I have shuffled alot and drew the top six five times to see what my first hand would look like. Here is how it went.
#1: Luster Dragon x 2, Jinzo, Nobleman of Crossout, Dragon's Mirror, Threatening Roar. #2: Luster Dragon, Red Eyes Darkness Dragon, Lord of D., Twin Headed Behemoth, Dust Tornado, Sakuretsu Armor. #3: Red Eyes B. Chick x 2, Jinzo, Magician of Faith, Dust Tornado, Inferno Fire Blast. #4: Magician of Faith, Divine Dragon Ragnarok, Red Eyes B. Dragon x 2, Inferno Fire Blast, Giant Trunade. #5: Red Eyes B. Dragon, Spear Dragon, Premature Burial, Inferno Fire Blast, Draining Shield, Bottomless Trap Hole.

LOL, that was tough criticism indeed, forgive me for using situational Cards, it would seem I'm quite fond of them ;D I have a request myself, let's see, Raven, if you and Jaspbur can come up with this: A combination Hybrid Deck, focus split between Relinquished/Control Cards, and the diabolical mess of a theme known as Toons. It must be Advanced Format, of course. Now THIS should be easy.

Yes sorry about the rough criticism. I just did not like the previous design at all. There where to many things wrong with it I noticed. Trust me I would not go off like that if I did not believe what I was saying 100%. I dueled a lot of Decks that looked almost just like that, and just with my lesser for fun Decks I pretty much just toppled them over. All I had to do is just time my plays carefully with a little patience and well the end result was pitiful. It was almost like shooting...ummm never mind that. Looking at fish in a barrel. The Deck is just to hard to play out to have hope to keep up with the faster and more aggressive designs.
This Deck is a much better design to post up for a members request. Something I would have easily went with giving my full support. It is easy to play, flexible, balanced, and packs a punch. Which leads me to ask. Why did you not post the previous Red Eyes Deck similar to this one?
There is not much I would change out personally. Since the structure is well placed. All you can do is switch out a few cards here and there for better verity. In terms of monsters I would remove the third Luster Dragon to lower the over all count to a balanced 20 (You don’t need the third anyways) and then replace Devine Dragon Ragnarok for a Dark Hex Sealed Fusion. Given that it will act as both a Fusion Material Monster for Dragons Mirror and act as additional means to summon King Dragon. Just more options. Lastly for your Traps I would replace your Draining Shield for a chainable and highly strategical Compulsory Evacuation Device. Other then that there is nothing that needs to be said. I give this Red Eyes Deck here a 8.5 out of 10 for sure.
And no the 42 count does not bother me. 1 or 2 more cards will do little to hurt any Decks structure. Its just preference that I keep my more powerful Decks at 40 while others no more then 42 or 43. Anything past 43 are above tend to make me uncomfortable as you full well know. ((Has the feeling your now going to add 2 more cards just because I said that.))
Anyways you can always show me a Blue Eyes Deck in a Duel via the Duelist Arena anytime. I welcome all challenges. Then we get to see if the Devil will freeze.
Well that is a rather original request and really not too easy. Regardless we will get that Deck to work for you on the name of this sites honor. Besides the more challenging the more fun it will be.

Let's see, Raven, if you and Jaspbur can come up with this: A combination Hybrid Deck, focus split between Relinquished/Control Cards, and the diabolical mess of a theme known as Toons. It must be Advanced Format, of course. Now THIS should be easy. Ok Tony here is your Deck. Me and Jaspbur exchanged points of view and we came up with the following list. To be frank I do not agree on your using the Relinquished in a Toon Deck at all as it clearly serves to distract the Deck from its Toon’ish origin. Though hey it will be fun to play. Now to point out some aspects key to its design. Lets start off with your Decks offensive character rustics. First of all since most of your attacking monsters being Toons with there ability to attack directly. You don’t have to focus on removing your opponents monsters to defeat your opponent. There is no need to and the only reason that you would practice monster removal is to keep the opponent off your back. Also in mind of cards like Horus or Jinzo that may pose problems. Thanks to the Vengeful Bog Spirit, Messenger of Peace, Swords of Revealing Light, and the 3 set Toon Defense/Spirit Barrier combo. This should provide you more then adequate protection against most average players out there. Thus allowing your Toons the leeway needed to attack without interruptions. All that is left is the concern for your opponents Spell or Traps that will get in the way. To be honest I did not put in enough Spell or Trap removal to satisfy myself. Though with this Deck already at 44 cards. I do not have much choice otherwise risk this Decks structure which remains decent as is. Next is that I will point out that the Toons that where first introduced in Spell Ruler or was once called Magic Ruler where hardly used. Only the Toon Summoned Skull as added just out of flavor. You see all the Older Toon Monsters such as the Summoned Skull, Blue Eyes, Ryu Ryan, and Mermaid have all the same draw backs as there newer counter parts. However have the added disability they cannot be summoned at all without a Toon World active on the field. Secondly all these monsters don’t have any supporting effects other then being able to attack directly. They are a poor choice and you should avoid using them. Lastly is the full utter importance of keeping your Toon Worlds safe and sound. Magic Reflector and the invaluable Judgement of Anubis will be essential to your design. Well that is about the jist of it. I hope you like your new Deck Inferno. Monster Cards 19 Mobios the Frost Monarch-1 Toon Summoned Skull-1 Relinquished-2 Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands-2 Toon Goblin Attack Force-3 Toon Gemini Elf-3 Toon Masked Sorcerer-2 Toon Cannon Soldier-1 Sangan-1 Cyber Jar-1 Morphing Jar-1 Magician of Faith-1 Spell Cards 17 Dark Hole-1 Mystical Space Typhoon-1 Bait Doll-1 Magic Reflector-2 Toon World-3 Toon Table of Contents-3 Premature Burial-1 Vengeful Bog Spirit-1 Messenger of Peace-1 Swords of Revealing Light-1 Black Illusions Ritual-2 Trap Cards 8 Toon Defense-3 Spirit Barrier-3 Judgement of Anubis-1 Call of the Haunted-1 Total Deck Count 44

Whoa, that's tons better than what I had in mind.. Cool! Actually, the reason I asked for this was because I'm thinking of making a similarly-Themed Deck, and now you guys just gave me the tools I need to make it ;D Thanks much to both of you, the craftsmanship is impeccable. Well everyone, you've seen how we work thus far, now it's time for all of you to suggest to us a Theme, so Myself, Raven, and Jaspbur can all work on it for you.

My turn. I am pondering something evil that I'd like to see. I want a Level deck that basically chokes off all options. The basic thinking is to combine some combination of Horus, Silent Magician, Silent Swordsman, or Mystic Swordsman. I have a full set of Horus (3,2,1), a full set of Mystics (3,2,1), one each of the Silent magician LV4 and LV8, and one each of Silent Swordsman LV3, LV5, and LV7. I was also considering some royal decrees once the structure decks are out and i can get my hands on some. I want to be able to level up fast with this deck, and leave no options to my opponent....I want to be able to keep their monsters down at any given time too to pick them off with the Mystics. Well...a tall order...but i am sure you are up to it.

Well, a tall order it may be, but never too tall for me. Mind you, this is just my viewpoint of it, Raven may have something different in mind, but here goes anyway.
Monsters: 18
Silent Magician Lv8 Horus the Black Flame Dragon Lv8 Horus the Black Flame Dragon Lv6 x2 Mystic Swordsman Lv6 Mystic Swordsman Lv4 x2 Silent Magician Lv4 Horus the Black Flame Dragon Lv4 x3 Cyber Jar Exiled Force Sangan Magician of Faith Tsukuyomi Drillroid Breaker the Magical Warrior
Spells: 13
Level Up! x3 Swords of Concealing Light x2 Book of Moon Monster Reincarnation Heavy Storm Mystical Space Typhoon Graveyard in the 4th Dimension x2 Enemy Controller Dark Hole
Traps: 9
Hidden Book of Spell Compulsory Evacuation Device x2 Call of the Haunted Royal Decree x2 Magic Cylinder Draining Shield x2 (just in case)
Main Deck Total: 40 Cards
I believe this nails down the Control theme Jaspbur was hoping for airtight. The pair of Graveyard in the 4th Dimensions are made for bringing back two of any of the Lv Monsters, perfect for letting your opponent know just how much you hate them ;D So Jaspbur, how's it look?
