Tournament Rules and Special Formats.
Mariks Palace Online Tournaments will abide by all official Upperdeck rules. These Online Tournaments are events held over the sites chat room the same as the Duelist Arena. A Tournament can be held at the minimum of 8 players and there is no limitation to how many players will attend. These events will be monitored by Judges whom will assist players with any questions and maintain the Tournament in progress. Pacific information involving a Tournament will very depending on Format or Special Restrictions placed by this site. So please read carefully the information provided on announced Tournaments.

Special Formats
This site will host unique Formats that involve special restrictions. These special restrictions will prove to test Duelists on a verity of different levels of cunning and experience. They may include the following.
Type Restrictions - Players may only use a Deck with only 1 Type of Monster
Theme Restrictions - Players may only use a Deck that involve 1 Pacific Theme only. Such as Beatdown, Burn, or Water Themes.
Sealed Starter or Structure Decks - Players will use a Structure or Starter Deck made and soled from Upperdeck to duel with. No modifications allowed.
Tournament Rankings
Points are awarded to participating players based on there Position in a Tournament Latter. These points are tallied together over a course of a season much like the Duelist Arena. When the season is over the one with the highest points in all will be crowned Champion.
The Points are Awarded as follows.
1st Place - 5 Points
2nd Place - 3 Points
Semi Finalists - 2 Points
All other positions will get you 1 Point.
