Hi there, let me explain a few things about the tournament before I get to the rules. It is an Online Tournament, and we will be using AOL Istant Messenger (AIM) to duel. Don't have AIM? Here is a link to download AIM, don't worry it's a free service: Download AIM.
This is a FREE tournament
Tournament Start/End Time
Sundays from 5:00pm-Whatever time we get finished(Please note that the time is in CST)
Requirements
1.In order to play in the tournament you must first sign up in the Duelist Arena and be approved by Raven. Link to the Duelist Arena: Duelist Arena: Rules, FAQ, and Registry
2.You must have a real deck to play with!
RULES!!!
1.The only break that will be allowed within the duels are bathroom breaks. In other words, we won't wait for you to finish watching your favorite T.V. show.
2.Tell your opponent EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE, an example of this is given in the Duelist Arena
3.No bragging! No one likes a sore winner/loser. This tournament is suppose to be fun for everyone, not for one person to make you feel like your an inch tall.
4.No instigation. In other words, no foul language or another other means of starting a virtual fight.
5.NO CHEATING!!! In this tournament, absolutely no cheating will be tolerated. If you are caught cheating you will be be disqualified from this tournament and lose your current duel. You can participate in the next tournament, but if you are caught cheating again, you will not be allowed to participate in the tournaments anymore. Remember, cheating doesn't help you or anyone else.
6.Don't be afraid to ask a question, we won't eat you alive. If you have a question about some of your cards, go ahead and ask me, Raven, Jaspbur, or Nightshade.
7.No Asian/God/Traditional Cards- We are going to be using Upper Deck's Advanced List for our tournaments. (Note*** A link will be provided to the list soon)
8.Most importantly, HAVE FUN! Ok, Yugioh is a game, and games were created so people could have fun. It's not about who wins and who loses, just how much fun you had. If you win congrats to you, if you lose, keep playing you'll get better.
If you follow those rules, you'll have no problem with me. Just post a reply that you would like to join the tournament and send me a deck list via e-mail or PM. The first Sunday of every month will be like sorta like Battle City. Every player will throw in a Mint condtion Foil Card. It doesn't have to be Secret Rare or anything like that, just make sure it's not beat up or scratched up. Think about it, if you win, do you really want to have damaged cards as your prize?! For any other Sunday, I'll anounce the prizes before the start of the tournament. If you have anymore questions, feel free to E-mail or PM me. Well, I have run out of things to say (You: ). So, later to all and to all a good later. * Santa comes and beats him over the head with a 50 year-old fruit cake *
