[glow=yellow,2,300]Legacy of Ra, Devine Horus Deck.[/glow]
The Horus Black Flame Dragons Deck has been the flagship design used by Nightshade and myself ever since just after the Soul of the Duelist Booster was released. One inspiration to create this master piece was brought by the character Yami Marik and his use of the Egyptian God Card Ra. I wanted to create a legal tournament class deck that can mimic the dignifying power and aww that is inspired by my favorite character. However the true intent of this creation was to create a Tournament Competitive Deck that I could call all my own. A Deck that would be molded pacifically within my individual preference and playing styles. A more unique design from the other over played Cookie Cutter Deck Designs that dominated the common meta’s. From the day I first won a Upperdeck sanctioned Tournament with this Deck. It has gone threw repeated modifications into the far more efficient design you see before you today.

I do hope you can excuse a teenage girl such as myself for being naturally curious about something 07lawsonp... but you see I'm a little confused about something and am hoping you may be able to shed a tiny bit of light on things thanks to your experties.
You see the deal is that your suggestions... while facinating at best, they happen to confuse me a little bit. I mean I'm quite sure that since you were able to take the time to read the deck, look up the various cards you didn't know and used that smart little brain of yours to figure out the various ideas Raven had when comming up with an ingenious deck such as this.... you would have to have given your advice quite a lot of thought and all before posting. I mean you did do that right ((highly doubt you'd want to come across to people as a clueless little amature who doesn't know what he's talking about now would you))?
Anyways enough small-talk and onto the actual first question. A person such as myself of medium level skill has to wonder why you happened to suggest adding another 1 or 2 copies of heavy storm as opposed to something like "harpies feather duster". I'm sure this is just me here failing to see the larger picture here ((believe it or not people it does happen more often then my pride likes to admit)) so yeah, can you do a favor just for little, old, innocent me and explain your logic?
I'm not having a "go at you" like some people who like to presume the worst due to paranoia may think... I just want to understand where you are comming from before offering my humble opinion(s). Nothing wrong with furthering your understanding and general knowledge after all right?

Let me make a more benign statement here. Winged Dragon of Ra is a God card, which is not playable in any UDE sanctioned tournament. While I am CERTAIN that Raven has for fun only decks that include that card, this deck would not be among them. This deck was made for tournament play, and has won many of them. it strictly adheres to Banned and Restricted Lists. usually when one of our members post a deck, they will specify if it just a "for fun" deck.

O I'm sure 07lawsonp is fully awhere about both the traditional and advanced bann lists... i mean just look at how he has typed out his post ... although i got a hunch none of you will spot what I'm seeing. Trust me here ((well as much as you can trust a person such as myself))... he ain't a completely dumb idiot who wouldn't have even been able to realize that Jaspbur.
Now there is a reason as to why 07lawsonp made those suggestions and while i do have a few ideas as to why i was hoping that he could personally confirm for me. I'm sure it will only take a minute or two of your valuable time to type out a response 07lawsonp... and who knows, maybe you'll even get that warm fuzzy feeling inside that comes with helping out a fellow human being like myself.

Okays... feels wierd offering suggestions about how to improve one of the first decks to ever cream me, but here goes nothing.
Obviously any half-brainer could tell that the deck needs to be altered a little to suit the new bann list. Since you're a smart person and all I'm sure you can work out the more blantly obvious stuff ((aka stuff like graceful charity)) but here are a few hopefully rather card efficiant ways to be able to summon lv8 in one turn which you might feel like looking at.
Option 1 Add in a cyber dragon or two. With the arrival of dark dust spirit and d.d. survivors being abused in macros decks come EOJ, simply special summon cyber dragon, tribute for lv6 and kill their monster. Then if your heart so desires you can upgrade to lv8 and hopefully dominate the field. Cards required to pull off = 2 plus possibly 1 from deck (and here the much loved egoistic duelist were stupid enough to think they actually may have had you pinned)
Option 2 Add in Treeborn Frog. Not only does he look cute but he can easily be special summoned back to the field time and time again... from which the trail of thought in option 1 applies. If you stop and think about it for a moment it's more card efficiant then option 1 since you only end up using 1 card from hand to summon lv6/8 to the field.... plus there won't always be something you can steal on your opponments field.
Both these options ((should they actually be helpful and you choose to go with either of them)) could possibly free up a little space so that you can add in other kick-ass cards. Not sure if i should be looking foward to or dreading what you end up comming up with.

Both very reasonable suggestions to get a tribute for Horus LV6.

My experience with horus decks have told me that running horus level 4 isn't a good thing. Horus level 4 has sub par stats and requires a monster killed to level. Now sure this is possible but looking at bad topdecks is what kills you in the game. I would rather run 2-3 horus level 6 and tribute for horus than run level 4 for several reasons. The first being horus 6 has protection. Spells do nothing to it. Finding ways to tribute for horus is very simple. Reaper, cyber dragon, treeborn, etc all give you options for it. Those 3 slots for horus level 4 would be better off for a more secure monster lineup.

Horus LV4 is best used in a Horus/Fire deck where one is using Molten Destreuctions.....taking advantage of it's Fire attribute and making it a 2100atk beatstick.
