May I be so bold as to mention my beloved Hours Deck?
No matter how many different Decks I try to make my personalized Horus and Phoenix Deck “Legacy of the Gods” has been among my favorite creations. The best means to describe it to those that may not know what I am talking about. It is a Deck that is pretty much a Blue Book Beatdown((Sub-Beatdown Control Deck)) That uses a combination of Spell and Trap locks to help paralyze the opponents with the standard option reducing tactics with the speed to play powerful monsters from even the Deck itself to the field.

the only reason i went with other instead of chaos is because of OTKO decks like ben kai, and cyber stein.

I have to agree with Raven about the Horus Deck, although for myself I put Horus in my fire deck. The massive amount of Control that Horus gives you over the field is tremendous...not to mention the massive burn power of the Fire type. If I am going to lose Horus anyway, I'll just flip Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai and do heavy damage to my opponent on the way out. After LV8 is sitting on the field....then I like to add a Solar Flare Dragon or two.......after that I usually like to give them a Lava Golem or two......then flip gravity bind and watch them aganize about how to stop losing 1000lp at the end of my turns and 100lp on each of their standby phases. See Raven?....I really do have a mean streak buried in here somewhere.
Oh....and let's not forget Horus control. It's a very simple equation that works like this:
Horus LV8 + Royal Decree+Mystic Swordsman = GAME
